Float Laboratory Assistant

Dynacare is recruiting a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to float between locations in Ontario. This part-time role offers a chance to work collaboratively while conducting blood collection and various medical tests. Your ability to maintain empathy and provide exceptional service will be crucial to delivering top-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and process blood samples accurately

• Perform ECGs and other specimen collections

• Ensure compliance with established quality metrics

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information

• Accurately document patient requisitions and data

Requirements:

• Secondary School graduation and laboratory training

• Skilled in phlebotomy and patient interaction

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Proficient in English to communicate effectively

• MLPAO/CSMLS Certification preferred
