What you will do

  • Assess and treat stroke patients with precision, tailoring your approach to individual needs.
  • Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy interventions that promote recovery and independence.
  • Function within an acute hospital setting, providing high-quality care and expertise.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team working, ensuring comprehensive patient management.
  • Manage your patient caseload independently while maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Support patient rehabilitation and recovery through innovative techniques.
  • Apply clinical reasoning to assessment and treatment planning enhancing patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Recent experience in stroke care within an NHS acute hospital setting.
  • Evidence of postgraduate stroke training.
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience working within a specialist stroke service.
  • Experience working compressed hours to maintain work-life integration.
