Make a difference in clients' lives as a Full-Time Personal Support Worker with VON Canada. Provide essential in-home care and support to enhance everyday living.
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will play a vital role in offering person-centred care to clients in the comfort of their homes. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering independence and comfort for each individual. You will be responsible for travel to various homes, ensuring every visit is meaningful and tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personalized care in clients' residences
• Assist in creating and updating individual care plans
• Support clients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Facilitate mobility and safe transfers
• Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping
Requirements:
• Certification as Personal Support Worker or equivalent
• Completion of first-year nursing program or equivalent
• Valid CPR level C Certificate or Standard First Aid
• Current driver's license and personal vehicle
• Satisfactory Criminal Records Check
