* WHAT YOU’LL DO:

** The Health Information Management Professional is responsible for ensuring accurate coding and abstracting of all patient charts (DAD and NACRS) while maintaining confidentiality of personal health information.
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
*** Graduate of an accredited Health Information Management Program required.
* Current certification as member in good standing with CHIMA required.  
** WHO YOU ARE:
*** Proficient ICD-10-CA and CCI coding skills
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of CMGs, RIWs, Case Complexity and CACS
* Demonstrated knowledge and abilities related to computerized abstracting, systems (e.g. Med
2020)
* Demonstrated basic knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and good computer skills
* Demonstrated customer focused/driven attitude and positive customer philosophy
* Accurate keyboarding skills (40 wpm)
* Able to use standard office equipment including a computer, laser printer, label printer, fax machine, multifunction photocopier, calculator, and telephone. (Option to add other department specific equipment to the list)
* Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and follow current privacy regulations.
