The stated hours of work are approximate as schedules are subject to change with the operational needs of the Health Centre. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Provides subject matter expertise and best practice advice in compensation by leading the development, implementation, and oversight of compensation programs for non-union roles, to ensure compensation programs are aligned with applicable legislation, internal policy, and PRHC’s organizational strategy. Partners and consults with leaders and HR by gathering and analyzing information and making recommendations to recommend solutions that address evolving compensation needs, mitigate risks, and support business objectives.
Oversees the compensation framework, job design, job evaluation, and benchmarking by administering processes to sustain fair, consistent, and equitable compensation practices across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Undergraduate degree in HR or related field.
Three years of related experience in Human Resources compensation/classification within a unionized or public sector environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
WHO YOU ARE:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively independently, and in collaboration with others.
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex job evaluation and compensation related issues.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and use of persuasive influencing skills.
High level communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to use computer systems such as spreadsheets, Word, database software, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).Demonstrated organization and planning skills.
Knowledge of collective agreements and pertinent legislation as required.
