Human Resources Staffing Officer

Support staffing operations at Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board using collective agreement knowledge and precise human resources administration. This permanent role is office-based.

The Human Resources Officer, Staffing supports teaching, education worker, and administrative staffing processes. You will coordinate postings, screening, interviews, assessments, offers, staffing changes, leaves, and workforce reporting. The position provides guidance to principals, managers, employees, and unions while maintaining confidential data.

• Coordinate staffing competitions, postings, screening, assessments, and employment offers
• Provide guidance aligned with collective agreements and Board policies
• Process transfers, salary placements, experience updates, and category changes
• Review leave, retirement, and resignation requests
• Maintain rosters, seniority lists, documents, reports, and process guides

• Two-year Human Resource Management diploma or related qualification
• Minimum one year in a progressive human resources environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office, HRIS, and reporting tool skills
• Strong confidentiality, organization, communication, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of collective agreements and employment legislation
