Design Associate

Laridae is seeking an Experience Design Associate to join our team. This is a behind-the-scenes enablement role that supports high-quality facilitation and training by ensuring materials, systems, and follow-through are handled with care and consistency.

Working closely with facilitators, you will draft and refine training materials, organize information, maintain templates and systems, and ensure strong readiness before sessions and reliable follow-through afterward. By owning the practical work that makes delivery possible, you help reduce the cognitive load on facilitators so they can focus on working directly with clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking program plans and facilitation designs and ensuring they are fully prepared and ready to deliver. You take pride in details and find satisfaction in strengthening preparation and follow-through over time. This is a collaborative, internal role focused on delivery readiness and thoughtful execution, not consulting or facilitation.

• Prepare and maintain facilitation and training materials using established templates and standards
• Customize materials for specific clients or sessions, including agendas, dates, and contextual details
• Ensure materials are accurate, consistent, on-brand, and ready for delivery

• Own behind-the-scenes research, preparation and follow-through that enables facilitators to focus on delivery
• Anticipate what facilitators will need ahead of sessions and ensure readiness
• Organize outputs and track next steps after sessions and project meetings

• Steward facilitation templates, documents, and shared resources
• Maintain organization, version control, and accessibility across systems
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies and propose practical improvements

• Use AI tools thoughtfully to support preparation, organization, and efficiency
• Help refine workflows over time to improve consistency and quality
• Understand the risks and limitations of AI and the importance of human attention, judgment, and accountability in all final outputs

• In some circumstances, and based on team capacity and need, attend in-person or virtual sessions to build context for preparation and follow-through
• Capture key decisions or language when present

• Experience using design and layout tools for preparing materials (e.g. Canva)
