Join Fleming College as a Service Desk Technician and play a vital role in IT support. Your expertise will help students and staff resolve technical issues related to various devices.
This campus-based position at Fleming College involves direct support for users, addressing technical problems with hardware, software, and networks. You'll handle service tickets, escalate issues as necessary, and provide educational assistance in the Learning Commons to improve software usage among students. Collaboration with the IT Network/Evolve team will also be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the initial point of contact for technical issues
• Resolve tickets for hardware and software problems
• Keep users updated on their support requests
• Assist students in using software at Learning Commons
• Troubleshoot network and mobile device issues
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma in Computer Technician or IT
• At least 3 years of front-line IT support experience
• Proficient with network, Windows, Mac, and Linux
• Experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting
• Support for mobile devices in enterprise setups
