A Senior GIS QA Analyst is required to support a large-scalegeospatial application modernization initiative. The successful candidate will evaluate upgraded GIS infrastructure and newly upgraded GIS applications aspart of an enterprise technology transformation program. This role involves testing business-critical GISapplications that are being upgraded to a modern GIS platform. The workincludes validating application functionality, infrastructure performance,integration capabilities, accessibility compliance, and overall user experience improvements.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, testing leads, technical leads, business stakeholders, and project management resources to ensure high-quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Provide advice and guidance on testing strategy, test plans, testing tools, and resource requirements.
• Plan,organize, and execute testing activities for large-scale systems in bothGUI and non-GUI environments.
• Conductsystems integration testing, specialized testing, and user acceptance testing activities, including stress testing.
• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test data.
• Work closely with testing leads, technical leads, project teams, and stakeholders throughout analysis, design, development, implementation, and support phases.
• Supportongoing quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

• Experience planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts for complex systems.
• Knowledge of structured methodologies for application development, design,implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience using Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and data querytools.
• Experienceutilizing automated testing tools and version control systems.
• Experienceexecuting functional, non-functional, and systems integration testing.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong knowledge of QA principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience creating testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Experience with unit, integration, load, and performance testing.
• Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of one or more automated testing tools.

• Knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Experience working with information retrieval tools and technologies.
• Understanding of GIS infrastructure and application testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
• Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards and requirements.
• Experiencetesting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
• Experience designing and developing automated test scripts.

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure modernization and maintenance-focusedinitiatives.

• Experience facilitating discussions and driving consensus among stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams.

• Experience working within public sector environments.
• Familiarity with government IT standards, governance frameworks, and project gating processes.

• Experience with GIS (Esri) based projects and applications such as Arc Map, ArcGIS ProSDK, File Geodatabases, Arc Objects, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcGIS Online.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure modernization and maintenance projects.
• Experience with VBA, .NET, C++, C#, and SDKs.
• Abilityto work continuously throughout the duration of the contract.
