Remote Camp Janitor

Position: Remote Camp Janitor at Dexterra Group
Join Dexterra Group as a Janitor in a remote camp setting in Northwestern Ontario. Enjoy provided meals, accommodations, and travel while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.

Successful candidates will work under the Lead Housekeeper and Camp Manager, focusing on cleanliness standards and site maintenance.

This role offers a unique chance to thrive in a two-week on/two-week off rotation, providing a work-life balance while engaging in rewarding tasks within a large camp atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all camp common areas

• Manage garbage and recycling collection efficiently

• Operate the T-300 floor scrubber for floor care

• Maintain hygiene in public washrooms consistently

• Ensure refill of hand sanitizer stations across the site

Requirements:

• Experience in remote lodge or institutional cleaning environments

• Commitment to a 2 week on/2 week off rotation

• Valid government-issued photo  travel

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Pass a Criminal Background Check
