Operational Excellence Leader - BWXT

Location: Millbrook

Drive Lean initiatives and operational excellence at BWXT Nuclear Energy in Peterborough, Ontario, as an Operational Excellence Leader. Collaborate with diverse teams to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.

In this pivotal role, you'll report to the Operation Excellence Manager and lead continuous improvement efforts across the organization without direct supervisory authority. Frequent travel to both Peterborough and Arnprior locations will be necessary. Your expertise will foster a culture of innovation and efficiency as you execute critical projects and implement Lean best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead production enhancement and Lean initiatives

• Establish new manufacturing cells at world-class standards

• Maintain and improve standard work and 5S

• Conduct process and value stream analysis

• Develop key performance indicators to track success

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

• Ten years of experience in manufacturing or nuclear

• Lean Manufacturing certification desirable

• Six Sigma Black Belt is advantageous

• Strong communication and detail-oriented mindset
