Experienced CNC Machinist

Position: Experienced CNC Machinist Opportunity
Leverage your CNC Machinist skills in a rewarding role based in Peterborough, Ontario. You'll be responsible for programming and machining parts that meet strict engineering specifications.

In this position, you will report to the Shop Supervisor and utilize your 5 to 10 years of experience.

Your role includes setting up tools, preparing fixtures, and providing essential support to apprentices and CNC operators. You'll play an integral part in process improvement and will adhere to Risk Assessment practices throughout each operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Risk Assessment standards

• Deliver timely production of precision components

• Mentor CNX trainees and assist CNC operators

• Advise the design team on potential improvements

• Manage and backup CNC program files effectively

Requirements:

• Completion of College Diploma and Red Seal

• 5 to 10 years experience in CNC machining

• Intermediate skill with conventional tools

• Advanced knowledge of precision hand tools

• Strong understanding of drawing interpretation
