Manufacturing Engineer, Nefab Canada

Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. We are now strengthening our team in Nefab Canada with a Manufacturing Engineer.

• Support innovation projects alongside the Production Manager
• Champion continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing
• Develop new processes and manage program launches
• Research new equipment and processes
• Project manage the rollout of new products in the manufacturing sites
• Support the maintenance team with troubleshooting equipment failures
• Conduct time studies throughout operations to validate labour requirements and drive process improvement
• Develop manufacturing standards for costing purposes and develop other process standards (e.g., pallet standards, packaging standards, nailing standards, gluing standards, etc.)
• Comply with local regulations
• Adhere to ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalency in combination of education and experience
• 2-5 years’ manufacturing experience in a technical role
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings/documents
• Ability to train others on existing or new processes
• Detail-oriented and conscientious
• Ability to troubleshoot and innovate in a hands‑on environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment
• Strong ability to Project Manage
• Positive, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude
• Experience working within a manufacturing ERP system is considered a major asset

This position is located in Peterborough and you will report to the Production Manager.
