Production Specialist in Tapered Insulation

Join QXO as a Production Specialist, assisting in the fabrication of tapered insulation products. Utilize your skills in layout, cutting, and organization in a hands-on role.

In this position, you will work closely with operators during cross-cutting and fabrication tasks, ensuring accurate material processing for various types of insulation, including Polyisocyanurate and Expanded Polystyrene. You will lay out materials based on custom specifications, maintain a clean workstation, and support product coding for reassembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cross-cutting insulation materials accurately

• Layout materials as per custom cutting specifications

• Handle various heavy insulation products safely

• Support coding of cut products for easy reassembly

• Maintain an organized workstation with end-of-day cleaning

Requirements:

• Proficient with tape measures and imperial measurements

• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings effectively

• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Capable of independent work while supporting the team
