This Senior CNC Machinist position focuses on hands-on operations, machine setup, and leading a team. You will operate 3-axis CNC mills, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the production of high-quality precision components. Your expertise will also guide less experienced machinists, enhancing overall efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines
• Produce components while adhering to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Optimize machine performance and select tooling
• Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment
Requirements:
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Extensive 3-axis milling machine operation experience
• Strong understanding of machining practices
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and keen attention to detail
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
