Manufacturing Production Generalist

Become a key player in our hydropower manufacturing team at ANDRITZ Canada in Peterborough, ON. As a full-time Production Generalist, your role focuses on producing high-quality stator coils and bars.

In this permanent position, you will contribute to the manufacture of essential components for hydropower generators. Key skills include maintaining safety standards, operating machinery, and ensuring quality during production. You'll be involved in packaging products and using manufacturing systems to track progression and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety protocols with required personal protective equipment

• Operate machines efficiently at various workstations

• Apply insulated tape manually with precision

• Perform visual inspections to ensure high-quality output

• Pack finished products securely for shipment with accurate labeling

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and work long hours

• Capable of lifting 30 lbs or more

• Willingness to work day and afternoon shifts

• Strong manual dexterity for repetitive tasks

• Basic computer skills for operating manufacturing software
