Position: Proving Test Technician for Engine Systems
Take on the role of Proving Test Technician for engine systems at PE Global, located in Peterborough. This position focuses on both assembly and testing within a thriving manufacturing context.

Under this 12-month contract, you will work full-time on site, directly contributing to the performance evaluation of powertrains in vehicles. Expect to use your technical skills for troubleshooting, assembling, and perfecting engine systems, adhering to high-quality and safety benchmarks throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute assembly tasks as per standard procedures

• Install and instrument powertrains with industry-specific tools

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on engine systems

• Create components using workshop facilities

• Maintain workspace hygiene and safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with mechanical testing

• Experience in workshops or similar testing functions

• Knowledge in electric, EV, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Strong communication for collaborative tasks

• Proficient with tools used in assembly and maintenance
