CBM Ready-Mix Plant Supervisor Role

Join CBM as a Ready-Mix Plant Supervisor Floater in the East Region based in Peterborough, Ontario. This full-time role is integral to optimizing production and workforce management while ensuring quality delivery.

As part of Canada Building Materials (CBM), you will oversee plant operations from Peterborough to Kingston, focusing on maintaining high employee morale and compliance with health and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include supervising diverse work forces, resolving labor issues, and coordinating logistics of concrete production and delivery. You will also ensure proper concrete testing and maintain relationships with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of plant workforce

• Address grievances and uphold collective agreements

• Oversee the batching and delivery of concrete

• Foster customer relationships for quality service

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Two years of post-secondary education minimum

• Prior experience in ready-mix or similar field advantageous

• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities

• Familiarity with computer applications, including Excel

• G Class license and acceptable driving record required
