Infusion Nurse Position at Sentrex Health

Join Sentrex Health Solutions as a part-time Infusion Nurse, supporting patient care in Peterborough, Ontario. Deliver specialized infusion therapy and improve patient outcomes while working on-site.

In this role, you’ll execute crucial nursing duties including administering intravenous medications and performing patient assessments. As a lead operator, you ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Participate actively in patient education and liaise with healthcare providers to offer comprehensive treatment coordinated services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute pre-treatment evaluations for patients

• Insert IVs and manage medication administration

• Educate patients on their therapies and disease management

• Maintain documentation of treatment histories

• Ensure a hygienic clinic environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years of infusion nursing experience

• Registered Nurse, in good standing with provincial college

• ACLS or related certification is an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage infusion-related reactions autonomously
