Position: Full-Time Nurse Role in Addiction Treatment
Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres seeks a dedicated full-time Nurse in Peterborough, Ontario, focused on harm reduction for patients experiencing opiate dependency. Exhibit strong nursing skills in a supportive, team-centered environment.

This permanent position entails responsibilities in medication administration and the implementation of treatment plans. Engage deeply with patients and their families, showcasing compassion and understanding. Foster a collaborative spirit within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer injections and medications as directed

• Develop and evaluate treatment plans collaboratively

• Conduct clinical procedures, including ECG and drug testing

• Keep detailed patient records in EMR systems

• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Completion of Nursing diploma or Bachelor's in Nursing

• Experience in addiction care preferred

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification required

• Strong understanding of Harm Reduction approaches

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
