* WHAT YOU’LL DO:

** The RPN provides client care in accordance with the Professional Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario.  As a member of the health care team, the RPN has a significant role in promoting health, preventing illness, and helping clients attain and maintain the highest level of health possible in situations in which a client’s condition is relatively stable, less complex and the outcomes of care are predictable.
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
*** Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
* Recent experience in medical nursing preferred
* Experience in Long-term home care is preferred
* Current BCLS
* Demonstrated extensive knowledge working with individuals with various types of dementia, delirium, mental health concerns and addictions, and other neurological conditions, and those who experience a behaviour change
* Enhanced knowledge of family and caregiver needs that can best be served by a behavioural support system
* Training/knowledge of Gentle Persuasion Approach (GPA), P.I.E.C.E.S.  
* TM, U-First!, Montessori for Dementia preferred or willingness to receive training
* Current Medication Administration certificate and experience
