Deliver specialist cancer nursing at the Woodlands Centre, using clinical skills to care for patients receiving SACT and supportive treatments. The unit operates Monday to Friday.
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust seeks an enthusiastic and flexible Registered Nurse for its Haem/Onc Day Unit. You will develop cancer and SACT nursing knowledge while providing individualised care. The post supports patients, relatives, and carers through safe, compassionate treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and deliver individualised nursing care
- Safely administer SACT and supportive treatments
- Monitor patients and respond to complications
- Support students, staff, and learners
- Take charge of the unit when required
- Live NMC registration
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Oncology, haematology, or SACT experience preferred
- Willingness to develop specialist SACT nursing skills
- Collaborative approach across multidisciplinary teams
Develop cancer nursing expertise while delivering safe SACT care and supporting patients across North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
