This position lasts for up to 7 months, requiring proficiency in both fieldwork and laboratory techniques. You will lead efforts in data collection and ensure the integrity of wildlife specimens. Engage with various stakeholders as you perform vital research tasks in Ontario's diverse ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead lab and field research oversight
• Conduct necropsies to monitor wildlife health
• Maintain safety in field and laboratory settings
• Compile and analyze biological data accurately
• Facilitate communication with partner organizations
Requirements:
• Must possess a valid 'G' class driver's licence
• Willingness to receive rabies vaccination
• Experience in wildlife research practices
• Proficiency with technical data collection tools
• Strong ability to work as part of a team
