Part-Time Research Assistant at Waterloo

You will focus on microbiology procedures, including DNA extraction, PCR, and laboratory maintenance. This position requires 20 hours a week and offers valuable hands-on experience in research environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory maintenance and organization

• Assist in daily lab operations and research activities

• Prepare materials for experiments per specifications

• Maintain accurate research records and databases

• Support fieldwork and specimen/data collection

Requirements:

• Completion of a BSc degree or equivalent

• Preferred degree in biology, microbiology, or biotechnology

• Laboratory experience in microbiology/molecular biology

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
