Join Lakefield Foodland as a full-time Retail Meat Cutter. You'll prepare, cut, and package a variety of meats while providing excellent customer service.

This permanent position requires working directly in our supermarket's meat department. You will be responsible for preparing standard cuts, wrapping meats, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Previous experience with meat processing equipment is a plus, enabling you to excel in this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare meats for cutting

• Cut, trim, and package various meat products

• Weigh and price meats for sale

• Remove bones and grind meats as needed

• Create special orders and displays for customers

Requirements:

• Experience in meat processing or similar field

• Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for long periods

• Client-focused and organized work approach

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
