Merchandise Assistant Manager

Position: Full-Time Merchandise Assistant Manager Role
Drive merchandising excellence as a Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree in Peterborough, Ontario. Your routine will center on processing freight and maintaining store efficiency.

In this full-time position, you will work alongside the Store Manager, focusing on a wide array of store functions. You will help with merchandise needs, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain a customer-friendly environment. Strong communication and management experience will be key to successfully motivating your team and meeting store demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Store Manager on store operations

• Execute opening and closing protocols as needed

• Ensure company asset protection through secure practices

• Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor and stockroom

• Process the receipt and return of merchandise as required

Requirements:

• Previous retail and management background preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. regularly

• Strong ability to work effectively in a team

• Flexibility to meet physical requirements of the job
