Asset Protection Representative at Shoppers Drug Mart

Join Shoppers Drug Mart in Peterborough as an Asset Protection Representative to safeguard our retail environment. Help deter theft and collaborate with local police to maintain security.

This role involves actively preventing theft while working alongside one of Canada's largest Asset Protection teams. Key responsibilities include investigating retail theft, collaborating with law enforcement, and participating in community events. You will enhance store partnerships through coaching and regular team meetings, contributing to a secure shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deter and detect theft and fraud incidents

• Collaborate with police and other APRs on investigations

• Conduct internal investigations and compile evidence

• Participate in community events and store audits

• Coach colleagues on Asset Protection policies

Requirements:

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License

• Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada

• Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems

• Strong initiative and professional demeanor

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights
