Become a Turtle Taxi Volunteer Driver in Ontario and aid injured turtles getting vital care at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre. Your driving efforts can truly change lives!

Turtle Taxi is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to assist in transporting turtles across Ontario. You will help facilitate critical medical care by taking turtles from locations where they were found to the OTCC. A valid driver's license and a vehicle are required, but prior experience with wildlife is not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive injured turtles to access medical care promptly

• Respond to transport requests based on availability

• Work with multiple drivers for longer journeys

• Ensure safe transport by using enclosed containers

• Maintain a stellar driving record while volunteering

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License for Ontario

• Clean driving record and insurance coverage mandatory

• Access to a vehicle for transporting turtles

• Comfortable with commuting to the opportunity site

• Dedicated to volunteering and wildlife rescue
