Recycling & Waste Truck Driver

Job Summary

Driver/Loader operates waste collection vehicles, loads curbside materials, completes routes safely and efficiently, provides excellent customer service, and performs pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with company policies.

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle.
• Load curbside materials into the truck.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Punctual, reliable, team player.
