Charitable Donations Pickup Driver

Position: Charitable Donations Pickup Driver Role
Drive a meaningful route in the Charitable Donations Pickup Driver role with National Diabetes Trust. Collect essential donations from homes and bins, delivering them to partners and storage facilities.

This part-time position, up to 29 hours weekly, reports to the Operations Manager. You'll be responsible for understanding the organization's mission and maintaining compliance with driving regulations. The role emphasizes effective communication while supporting the charity's goals through donation collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive established routes for donation pickups

• Maintain vehicle compliance and conduct inspections

• Complete daily paperwork, including logs

• Log pickups accurately and provide message cards to donors

• Report route discrepancies and follow instructions

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience

• Class 5 or G driver's license with 5 years of experience

• Clean driving record and knowledge of route planning

• Strong communication skills for diverse interactions

• Ability to handle loads up to 50 lbs
