Part Time Driver at National Diabetes Trust

Drive impact with the National Diabetes Trust as a part time G Licence Pickup Truck Driver. Collect donations while promoting our mission in communities across Canada.

This vital role involves driving established routes for up to 29 hours per week. You will collect gently used clothing and household items, delivering them to charity partners and storage sites. Knowledge of safety regulations, excellent driving skills, and customer interaction will drive your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive established routes for donations pickup

• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections

• Complete and submit daily paperwork accurately

• Log all pick-ups and report route discrepancies

• Promote the mission of National Diabetes Trust to volunteers

Requirements:

• Valid G driver's license and vehicle permit registration

• Strong understanding of safety regulations

• Ability to complete Hours-of-Service Logs

• Good communication skills with dispatch and donors

• Commitment to teamwork and organizational goals
