Charitable Pickup Truck Driver

Position: Charitable Pickup Truck Driver National Diabetes Trust
Drive for impact with National Diabetes Trust as a Pickup Truck Driver. Collect donations from homes and bins while promoting charitable services and ensuring environmental sustainability.

This part-time role allows you to work up to 29 hours per week. You will drive established routes, collect donated clothing and household items, and deliver to corporate partners, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your mission is to contribute to an organization diverting millions of pounds from landfills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive established routes to collect donations

• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections

• Complete daily paperwork and logs accurately

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and donors

• Report any route discrepancies or issues

Requirements:

• Full Class 5 and/or G license with 5 years driving experience

• Clean driver abstract without recent violations

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to manage heavy loads and map routes
