Tasks and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in patient care and the overall functioning of the facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Care:
Providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients by taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians during procedures. - Documentation:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Administrative Support:
Assisting with front office duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient inquiries. - Medical Procedures:
Performing various clinical procedures, including blood draws, injections, and EKGs, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. - Infection Control:
Adhering to strict infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. - Team
Collaboration:
Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Education:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from a recognized organization (e.g., AAMA or NCCT).
Experience:
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer Proficiency:
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
BLS Certification - Required
Certification Requirements:
- Candidates must possess a current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from a reputable certifying organization.
State License Requirements:
- Applicants should be aware of and comply with any state-specific licensure or registration requirements for Medical Assistants in the state where the facility is located.
Additional License Requirements:
- In addition to CMA certification, candidates may be required to hold additional certifications or licenses as required by the facility or state regulations.
