  • Triage / Telephone experience (80% time spent on phone talking with patients)
  • All age group experience needed --- Pediatric experience required
  • knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with patients re; medication, medical history, diagnosis
  • Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
  • Clinic or Medical Office experience

Certification Requirements

  • BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements

  • Patient Care:
    Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborative Teamwork:
    Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress. Report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.

    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.

    Education:

    Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.
