A well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Audit Executive to join its growing Peterborough team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified auditor who enjoys working with a diverse client base and developing their technical expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The OpportunityYou will be part of a dynamic audit team delivering high-quality work across a variety of audit assignments
, ranging from straightforward engagements to more complex client projects.
The role offers strong exposure to both technical audit work and client relationship management

- Playing a key role in delivering high-quality external audit assignments across a diverse client portfolio
- Supporting audit planning and ensuring key risks are identified and addressed during the audit process
- Working closely with managers and specialists where required to deliver technically robust solutions
- Building strong relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their business objectives
- Providing practical recommendations and insights to support clients
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit team
- Supporting the development and engagement of junior team members
- Helping identify opportunities to enhance processes and utilise technology to deliver excellent client service
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in external audit
- Recent experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
- Experience using Excel, Word and audit software (Case Ware experience beneficial)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Client-focused with a proactive and commercial mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork
