Business Services Semi Senior

We are recruiting for a Business Services Semi Senior role at a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Coventry. This role offers real variety and an opportunity to develop both technically and professionally within a supportive and experienced team. You will work across a broad portfolio of clients, assisting with accounts preparation and gaining exposure to a range of business types and sizes.

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK without restriction and must be able to manage their own workload effectively. Previous experience in a UK practice and knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage or Quick Books are required.

• Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns under the guidance of senior staff
• Reconciling client records and working papers to a high standard of accuracy
• Communicating with clients in a professional and confident manner to gather information and resolve queries
• Supporting senior members of the team on more complex assignments as required
• Embracing opportunities for learning, development, and progression within the team

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, actively studying towards full qualification
• At least two years’ experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Solid practical experience of accounts preparation gained within a practice setting
• Good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero, Sage, or Quick Books
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage your own workload effectively
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
