Accounts Manager – Peterborough Peterborough | Full-Time | Hybrid & Flexible Working | Competitive Salary  Benefits 're recruiting an Accounts Manager for a growing accountancy practice in Peterborough . This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with UK practice experience who wants to take a senior, client-facing role. You'll manage a varied portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing a combination of accounts, tax, planning and business advisory services.

Key Responsibilities Manage workflow, deadlines and staff allocations Manage a diverse portfolio of accountancy practice clients Build strong, long-term client relationships Understand client objectives and identify opportunities to add value Organise and attend client meetings Review and oversee annual accounts and tax returns Manage one-off advisory and planning projects Ensure work is accurate, compliant and delivered on time Review work completed by junior team members Coach and mentor junior accountants Work closely with Partners and Directors on client matters About You ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent Proven experience in a similar Accounts Manager / Client Manager role Strong UK accountancy practice experience Excellent knowledge of accounts and personal taxation Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles Audit experience advantageous but not essential Experience using accounts and tax software Excellent communication and client relationship skills Commercially aware and confident providing advice Strong leadership and organisational skills What's on Offer Hybrid and flexible working Competitive salary and benefits Varied client portfolio Strong accounts, tax and advisory exposure Client-facing responsibility Leadership and mentoring opportunities Professional development and training Clear career progression Supportive and collaborative working environment Location Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Commutable from Stamford, Huntingdon, Market Deeping, Oundle, Spalding, Wisbech and surrounding areas .
