Senior Accountant

Due to growth and expansion, our client, a leading accountancy firm are actively recruiting for a Senior accountant based in Peterborough. The firm are flexible on the level they hire at and may consider applicants from a Semi-Senior or Assistant Manager grade.

They will consider both part-time and full-time applicants, offer great benefits, and strong salaries dependent on experience and qualifications.

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in accordance with FRS
  102 and UK accounting standards, together with the corporation tax computations and returns.
• Assist with personal tax compliance matters and identify planning opportunities.
• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by junior team members.
• Support clients with both general advice and software questions.
• Manage budgets and deadlines across the business.
• Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and business development.
• Mentor, train, and review the work of junior team members
