Public Sector Audit Assistant Manager

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high quality audit services to public sector clients, working closely with partners and managers while helping to develop junior team members.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
Plan, deliver, and finalise public sector audits from start to completion Manage a portfolio of public sector clients and act as a key point of contact Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior audit staff Liaise directly with client management and present audit findings Support partners and managers with technical queries and reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with public sector audit experience Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and public sector audit standards Excellent communication and client relationship skills Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members Benefits:
