Quotation and Tenders Administrator
Office Based | £32,000–£34,000 per annum | Full Time, Permanent
Do you have an eye for detail, a head for deadlines and the determination to get every submission over the line properly?
We’re looking for a highly organised Quotation and Tenders Administrator to support a busy sales operation with the preparation and administration of quotations, bids and tender submissions.
This is not simply a case of filling in a few forms and pressing send. You’ll bring together information from different departments, check every detail and make sure submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
What you’ll be doing- Preparing, compiling and submitting quotations, tenders and bid documentation
- Reviewing tender documents to identify requirements, specifications and deadlines
- Coordinating information from sales, technical and other internal teams
- Ensuring proposals are accurate, competitive and fully compliant
- Monitoring tender portals and identifying suitable opportunities
- Maintaining complete and up-to-date quotation and tender records
- Gathering supplier pricing and supporting cost comparisons
- Tracking bid outcomes and maintaining feedback reports
- Supporting contract handovers following successful awards
- Checking technical and vehicle-related details with the relevant internal specialists
- Maintaining a database of frequently asked tender questions and responses
- Providing additional administrative support to the sales team when required
You’ll have previous experience in quotations, bid administration, tender support or sales administration, combined with excellent document-management skills.
You’ll also bring:
- Exceptional organisation and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence managing several deadlines at once
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to understand and interpret technical information
- A positive, tenacious approach and the determination to see tasks through
Experience using tender portals, CRM or ERP systems would be beneficial. Knowledge of public-sector procurement would also be an advantage, although it is not essential.
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £32,000–£34,000 per annum
Location: Office based
Contract: Permanent
