Are you an outgoing, confident and people-focused individual with experience in a care environment or a similar setting? Do you enjoy speaking to people, building relationships and helping to resolve problems?
We are looking for a bubbly, proactive and confident Administrator to join a busy, energetic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked in care, healthcare, support services, customer service or another people-focused environment and is looking to transfer their communication and organisational skills into an administrative role.
This is not your typical back-office administration position. Being comfortable on the phone is essential, as you will spend a significant amount of time speaking with people, handling enquiries, managing queries and helping to resolve issues. You will need to be confident engaging with different personalities, asking the right questions and handling challenging conversations professionally.
The ideal candidate will be someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, thinks on their feet and brings plenty of personality and enthusiasm to their work.
Key Responsibilities- Handling regular telephone calls and communicating confidently with a range of people.
- Responding to enquiries, managing queries and helping to resolve problems efficiently.
- Building positive relationships through friendly, professional and engaging communication.
- Managing administrative tasks, updating records and ensuring information is accurate.
- Learning new systems, processes and procedures quickly.
- Handling occasional difficult or challenging conversations calmly and confidently.
- Using initiative to identify solutions and knowing when to ask questions or elevate an issue.
- Supporting the wider team to ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly.
Experience in a care environment or a similar setting is highly desirable. This could include care homes, domiciliary care, healthcare, support work, social care, patient services, recruitment or customer-facing roles where communication and problem-solving are essential.
What We’re Looking ForWe are particularly interested in candidates who are:
- Confident on the phone: Happy to pick up the phone, make calls, handle enquiries and have conversations with a wide range of people.
- Outgoing and personable: Naturally friendly, chatty, approachable and able to build rapport quickly.
- Positive and energetic: Someone who brings enthusiasm to the workplace and enjoys being part of a lively team.
- Calm under pressure: Able to manage challenging conversations professionally without becoming flustered.
- Quick to learn: Capable of absorbing and retaining information, picking up new systems and adapting to changing priorities.
- A natural problem-solver: Someone who takes ownership, uses their initiative and looks for solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Proactive and curious: Happy to ask questions, get involved and learn from others.
- Organised and reliable: Able to manage administrative responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be joining a friendly, lively and energetic team that values personality, communication and a positive attitude. The team is looking for someone who will get involved, communicate openly and bring a similar level of enthusiasm to the role. You should enjoy working collaboratively, feel comfortable speaking up and be happy in an environment where…
