Mobile Paint /SMART Repair Technician

Are you an experienced Mobile Paint /SMART Repair technician and looking for a new challenge? If the answer is “YES”, then you could be just the person we are looking for!

Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the largest independent Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with a growing team of over 140 Mobile and Static SMART Repair technicians. Due to the structured expansion programme of our Sister Company Go Smart Repair Limited, we are now recruiting an additional Mobile Paint/SMART Repair to provide Mobile Paint Repair Services in and around Peterborough and surrounding areas.

The successful Mobile Paint /SMART Repair Technician will service the daily Paint and Wheel SMART Repair needs of our SMART Insurance Policy holders in and around Peterborough and surrounding areas, therefore offering excellent earning potential. The successful paint technician should possess a valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer oriented and most importantly work to a high standard!

Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday between 08.00 – 17.30.

Additional requirements are as follows:

  • A self motivated individual and able to work on their own initiative
  • Preferably 3–7 years paint / alloy wheel refurbishment experience (Preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
  • Good knowledge and application of fillers.
  • Able to paint up to 2 vertical panels and blend.
  • Has great attention to detail.
  • Been customer facing in former roles.
  • Good command of Maths and English Language required.
  • Able to be flexible with hours, as our smart repair policy holders require.
  • Good time keeper.

Please note that all applicants will be asked to undertake a combined interview and technical assessment before any offer is made. [All travel expenses to attend the assessment will be refunded on the day].
