This is an excellent opportunity for either a Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician who enjoys mechanical work but wants to avoid the pressures of a traditional dealership service department. You'll be preparing quality used vehicles for retail sale in a modern, well-equipped workshop alongside experienced Technicians and Master Technicians who are always happy to offer support. The Role Working within the Sales Preparation team, you'll be responsible for ensuring used vehicles are prepared to the highest possible standards before being displayed for retail sale. Your duties will include:
Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance Brake, suspension and steering repairs Replacing batteries, exhaust components and other service items Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults Completing vehicle health checks Preparing vehicles to retail standard Carrying out final quality inspections before vehicles move through to MOT and valeting This role focuses on light mechanical repairs and vehicle preparation rather than major engine or gearbox work.
About You To be successful, you'll ideally have:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience) Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or PDI Technician A full UK driving licence MOT Tester Licence (desirable but not essential) A positive attitude with pride in producing high-quality work The ability to work well within a team Why Join?
