Morgan Hunt is delighted to support a public sector organisation as we look to welcome a Category Manager on a full‑time and permanent basis.

• Delivered compliant end‑to‑end procurement processes across multiple public sector categories, ensuring adherence to the Procurement Act 2023 and PSR Regulations 2023.
• Managed the reintegration of contracts into the organisation's procurement framework.
• Supported preparation activities, contributing to strategic transformation and governance alignment.
• Led and managed procurements and contracts valued up to £500k, achieving value for money, cost savings and process improvements.
• Developed category expertise and supported the implementation of category strategies aligned with organisational priorities, risk management and service delivery goals.
• Collaborated with internal stakeholders, suppliers and cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic and tactical procurement projects.
• Provided procurement guidance, governance support and stakeholder training while maintaining strong analytical, IT and presentation skills.

• Public Sector experience required (Healthcare/Social Care experience preferred).
• CIPS Qualified ideally.
• Experience at operating at this level.
