PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supplier Tooling Governance Analyst for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Peterborough.

This is an initial 6 months contract position based on site 5 days a week.

The pay rate is £20.58ph PAYE or £27.93ph Umbrella.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities
  • This UK based role will provide essential operational and governance support for supplier‑held tooling activities across a global footprint.
  • The position plays a key role in ensuring strong tooling governance, data accuracy, and compliance, while enabling senior procurement resources to focus on high value strategic initiatives that support suppliers, audits, and supply continuity.
  • Respond to day‑to‑day queries in the Supplier Tooling Management System (STMS) in line with established support processes
  • Perform data validation, record maintenance, and follow‑up to ensure accurate tooling records
  • Monitor supplier‑held tooling information and proactively flag issues or risks
  • Draft, update, and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
  • Maintain governance templates, reference materials, and tooling documentation
  • Assist with routine supplier inquiries related to tooling
  • Assist with data and evidence preparation for IAAS and internal audit activities
Education/Experience
  • Purchasing background or strong procurement experience
  • Ideally 2-5 years experience in similar environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, Operations or similar)
  • Experience with timesheet/reporting systems or tracking tools
  • Working knowledge of supplier tooling concepts and governance
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Comfort working across both administrative and technical tasks
  • Experience with tooling management systems
  • Experience supporting audit or compliance‑driven environments
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple time zones
