Job Title:
Assistant Project Manager
- Oversee and ensure projects are on track in terms of time and budget while proactively managing risks and opportunities.
- Attend site to gather information and translate into value‑added reports and presentations that drive successful meeting of relevant project delivery milestones.
- Champion sustainability principles in design and construction, specifically around the minimisation of energy use, carbon emissions, waste material reduction, and supply chain optimisation.
- Coordinate and manage contract requirements for design solutions, construction and commissioning, ensuring they meet and exceed health & safety standards and legislation.
- Provide a proactive and trusted resource to the Project Delivery Manager to support efficient close‑out of all projects, meeting clients’ requirements and enabling final account completion.
- Strive to continuously improve project delivery by closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and implement solutions.
- Experience delivering projects or coordinating complex tasks and activities to support planned outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the region as required to support projects.
- Construction industry experience and ambition to develop a career in the commercial field is advantageous.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, working collaboratively and honestly with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, accountable, and able to drive performance under pressure, demonstrating resilience and focus.
- Competence in IT programmes and openness to new technology.
