Senior Site Manager

Overview

My client a medium sized developer is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have worked as either a Senior Site Manager or a Site Manager on traditional build housing schemes/high volume and has experience of taking units from foundation to handovers. This scheme will be a 120+ units with a mix of private sale & HA & worked with LABC.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site/senior site manager looking to step away from the PLC world into a medium size business.

• Senior Site Manager - reporting to the Contract Manager
• Potentially working with a SM, ASM or a Trainee ASM
• Chair sub-subcontractor meetings
• Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
• RAMS
• Full understanding of H&S and ensuring its adhered to
• Snagging of sub-contractor work
• Calls off/Materials
• Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
• NHBC stage inspections
• Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
• Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
• Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
• Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
• Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
• Completions, CMLS, Handovers

• You must have experience of working traditional build housing schemes as a No1, taking plots from groundworks to handovers
• Are to manage a fast-paced busy site, KPIS
• Able to train and manage any staff who report into you
• PLC experience (Ie Volume)
• CSCS , Black
• First Aid, Scaffold awareness

• Salary between £75,000 to £78,000 plus package
• Bonus 20%
• 25 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
