Are you a Contracts Manager with experience within the structural steel or construction industry, looking to join a well-established engineering business that has been shaping the industry?

On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established structural steel specialist, taking full end-to-end responsibility for contracts across design, manufacture, and installation, within a business that has been shaping the industry for nearly 25 years.

In this role you will manage structural steel contracts from initial tender enquiry through to completion, attending pre-contract, contract and design meetings, and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of projects including subcontractors, labour and logistics.

This role would suit a Contracts Manager with experience in structural steel or construction, who is confident managing multiple projects, interpreting technical drawings, and driving commercial performance within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

Preparing and managing tender enquiries, and attending pre-contract, contract, and design meetings
Managing projects end-to-end including labour, subcontractors, logistics, and overall delivery
Controlling project scope, schedule, and cost changes throughout project lifecycle
Producing cost reports, valuations, applications, final accounts, and maintaining project documentation and records

The Person :

Contracts Manager or similar role within structural steel or construction
Understanding of technical drawings and cost extraction
Commutable to Peterborough Reference:BBBH
