About the Role
The Anglian Water @one Alliance is a collaborative organisation that brings together nine partner companies – Anglian Water, SWECO, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment and Skanska – to deliver the majority of the region’s capital investment programme. The role involves planning for the AMP8 Asset Management Period, which focuses on nature‑based solutions such as wetlands and urban drainage schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with @one Alliance requirements and methodology.
- Ensure project plans capture the full project scope and that resources are considered and loaded as required.
- Pro‑actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan; monitor the critical path and key milestones; advise the delivery team on potential changes and lead mitigation actions.
- Develop 4D animations of the project plan to support digital rehearsal of the construction phase.
- Design and implement effective, value‑added communication plans to ensure relevant teams and individuals are clear on strategy and approach.
- Ensure planning standards are maintained across @one and published processes are adhered to.
- Adhere to Health & Safety standards in all planning processes.
To be considered you will have demonstrable experience working on relevant projects within the civil engineering sector, preferably in the water industry. You must have P6 experience and the ability to interpret drawings to develop an efficient planning service. Strong communication skills to convey complex information to a wide range of audiences under tight deadlines, adaptability and a collaborative spirit are essential.
