Site Engineer

Description and Requirements

You will be working in the Infrastructure function on our Anglian Water Project, supporting £2.6 billion investment in vital infrastructure across the East of England.

• Lead day‑to‑day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out, inspections, and approvals.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to solve construction challenges and keep works on programme, budget, and quality targets.
• Prepare temporary works briefs, red‑line drawings, and 3‑month lookahead for your section of works.
• Apply policies, procedures, and legal requirements, with a strong focus on health, safety, and hazard minimisation.
• Maintain accurate site records and support coordination with engineering teams to resolve issues and deliver to spec, drawings, and digital models.

• HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or Civil Engineering Technician Level 4.
• CAD and BIM proficiency.

• Strong problem‑solving skills across both design and site environments.
• Competent in the use of robotic total stations and GPS surveying equipment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Health & Safety: 3‑day First Aid, Site Safety Supervisor Training Scheme (SSSTS) and a role‑specific CSCS card.
